Kateřina Opravilová
My name is Kateřina Opravilová and I have worked in the beauty industry for more than 15 years. I specialise above all in lash extensions, lash lifting, brow lamination and the training of lash and brow professionals. I am the founder of Beauty Art Academy in Olomouc, where I train lash and brow artists professionally, create my own teaching materials and provide one-to-one mentoring. My work combines technical precision, long experience and modern trends, with the emphasis always on the health of the natural lashes and on clean, high-quality work. I am a TOP Trainer in lash extensions, lash lifting and brow lamination, and an international trainer for the brand MAXYMOVA. I am also a member of The International Lash Masters Association, and the owner of the beauty studio opravi.lova beauty specialist in Olomouc. My professional honours include IBA awards in the categories TOP MASTER, TOP LASH TRAINER and TOP 10 LASHMAKERS. I am the author of my own teaching materials, I have created my own collection of professional tweezers, and I publish MAGAZINE OPRAVI.LOVA. Competition work is a significant part of my international career. I was coordinator of the LASH AND BROW TALENT WORLD CUP – Semifinals Czech Republic, and in 2026 I was invited as an honorary judge to the Lash & Brow Talent Grand Final in Barcelona. I have also judged the international championships WBC and Queen Lashes, and coordinated the Swan Lake Championship. I am a winner of the international Queen Lashes championship: 1st place, LASH ART ON OBJECT, ELITE category; 3rd place, BROW LAMINATION, ELITE category. For me the role of a judge is not only about assessing the finished look. I see it as a responsible professional position that calls for objectivity, experience, respect for the competitors and the ability to assess technique, precision, cleanliness of work, styling and overall professionalism. In more than 15 years in the field I have worked with a great many techniques, lash types, materials and working styles. That lets me judge not only the final result but also the quality of execution and the technical level of the work. My aim is to support the professional level of the lash and brow industry, to share my experience and at the same time to keep learning and following how the whole field develops. I would therefore see the chance to join WBC as a judge as another significant step on my international professional path, and as an opportunity to contribute my experience, expertise and fair approach to judging the competitors.
